On Saturday, 16 September, the newest of the US cruise company Silverseaflotte's ships, Silver Dawn, was welcomed in the port of Riga. This ultra-luxury ship is just one year old and was built in 2022 at the Genoa shipyard in Italy. Silver Dawn's first visit to the Port of Riga was marked with a special ceremony where the ship's captain and representatives of the Port of Riga exchanged commemorative insignia. The ship brought 530 cruise tourists to Riga, mostly from the USA, but also from the UK, Australia, Canada and other countries.
